Formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2008 and centered around the Millis brothers Jules (Vocals - ex Tigertailz) & Xavier (Keyboards - 2 x Aria Nominee) and guitar virtuoso Enzo Almanzi. Raised on a healthy diet of 80’s Arena Rock and influenced by artists such as Survivor, Foreigner, Journey, Night Ranger, Starship, Dokken and Australia's own Rick Springfield. In 2010 White Widdow signed with the AOR Heaven label and stormed onto the Melodic Rock scene across the globe with the release of their self-titled debut album throughout Europe. The release of the debut was met by the press with rave reviews making it into Classic Rock Magazine's top 10 AOR albums for 2010. White Widdow
quickly returned with their follow up release “Serenade” in September 2011, showcasing a more crafted song style and structure. In support of "Serenade", White Widdow hit the road playing festivals and headlining club shows throughout Europe which saw them tour through Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Greece and England. Along the way performing at HEAT Festival (Germany) and Firefest (UK) and playing alongside artists including Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Steve Auguri (Journey), Unruly Child, Stage Dolls, Keel, Shakra, Strangeways, Silent Rage, Alien, Mitch Malloy, Coney Hatch, Jeff Paris, Kane Roberts and many more. In 2014 White Widdow's third opus. "Crossfire" was released and was once again met with praise from both rock critics and melodic rock/ AOR fans, receiving positive reviews. In March 2015 White Widdow returned to tour Europe with shows in Spain and Greece before returning to the UK with shows across England and finishing the tour at Hard Rock Hell AOR Festival in Wales sharing the stage with AOR Legends Night Ranger & FM. 2016 saw White Widdow release their fourth album "Silhouette", a very slick AOR affair that was heaped with praise by the Melodic Rock Press and Media. White Widdow returned to tour Europe and once again performed at HEAT Festival in Germany alongside artists including Treat and Pink Cream 69. 2018 has seen White Widdow re-enter the studio for their fifth album "Victory", celebrating ten years since the band began and an album cover that throws back to the style of their debut. "Victory" incorporates a strong Pomp element in the songs along with White Widdow's traditional classic 80's AOR sound, the band allowing their influence of bands like Giuffria and White Sister to really come through. Featuring over the top pompus keyboards, stacked harmony vocals from the Millis brothers and Enzo Almanzi's tasty solos throughout. White Widdow are set to perform at Rockingham in the UK in support of the new album, followed by a tour through Spain, Greece and their native Australia.
Nordic Union - "Because Of Us" (Official Music Video)
From the album SECOND COMING.
NORDIC UNION is the successful collaboration, built by Frontiers President Serafino Perugino, between singer Ronnie Atkins of the legendary Danish hard rock institution PRETTY MAIDS and the up-and-coming Swedish songwriter and producer Erik Martensson of ECLIPSE and W.E.T. fame. The partnership between the two Scandinavians came about sometime in 2015 when Atkins was sent a bunch of demos put together for him by Martensson. The enthusiastic reaction from Atkins sparked a brand new musical alliance that culminated in Nordic Union’s self-titled debut album, which was released in January 2016.
Ronnie Atkins says, "I feel great about this new album! Whereas the first album was a bit of a “pilot project“, since we didn’t really know each other that well, this time it was more of a collaboration since we talked a lot about the direction of the individual songs, as well as me being more involved in the songwriting, though mainly lyrically. The first album turned out quite well and I still think it’s a great debut, to be honest. But from when we decided to do a second one, we kind of agreed to not just copy the first album, but without stepping too far away from the original formula and I think we succeeded in that. “Second Coming“ is a bit more mature, so to speak. A bit deeper, melancholic if I may say so, but still with great melodies and hooks! More unified, really and I’m pretty convinced that those who liked the first one will dig this one too."
Says Martensson, "[w]ith this album we took the bits and pieces that what we liked on our debut album and used those as a starting point when we started to write. What we aimed for was to create our own sound and identity and I think we achieved that goal. There are Nordic folk music influences, a bit of melancholy, and absolutely packed with melodies. I love how it turned out. Also, Ronnie Atkins is a fantastic singer and it's truly an honor to have the opportunity to work with him."
Heavy riffs, soaring vocals, thumping beats, and a grand ballad… this album has it all and flows perfectly with songs that are memorable, rocking, and of course, melodic. Prepare to delight your ears with a killer new album from the sensational Nordic musical alliance known as Nordic Union!

Jeff Scott Soto - "What Was" (Steve Perry Cover)
"In celebration of Steve Perry’s return to the music world with his new album "Traces", my longtime friends at Frontiers came to me with the idea of throwing out a cover of one of SP’s tunes as a ‘welcome back’ of sorts.
As this idea came about a week before I was scheduled to embark on the current Sons Of Apollo tour, I had little time to put this together, so I called on my VERY busy friend Alessandro Del Vecchio and asked if he could help me put something together. He enthusiastically squeezed me in and quickly knocked out the music to a song he had suggested called ‘What Was’. This song was only available on the ‘Greatest Hits + Five Unreleased’ album.
And so here it is, a thank you, welcome back and celebration for Mr. Perry’s return…I owe so much to this man and the influence he gave me as a singer, I only hope I did this song justice for you all to enjoy!" - Jeff Scott Soto, September 2018
