Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of the Self-titled debut album from British Hard Rockers THREE LIONS on April 18th in Europe and April 22nd in North America.
THREE LIONS are -- like the name itself implies -- a power trio featuring the familiar faces of former Ten and Dare members Vinny Burns on guitars and Greg Morgan on drums, along with the talented singer / songwriter Nigel Bailey. The band came about when the three musicians were introduced to each other by Frontiers Records President Serafino Perugino. The guys hit it off straight away and immediately set about writing new material for an album which soon was commissioned, with Alessandro Del Vecchio who was called in to produce.
Musically "Three Lions" is British Hard Rock at the very best! Mixing the melodic approach of early TEN with the classic musical heritage of UFO, THIN LIZZY and WHITESNAKE, these guys are about to take the Melodic Hard Rock scene by storm!
Nigel Bailey says "We were all determined to make the best album possible and are immensely proud of the songs that have made it onto the final record". From the eastern influenced Kathmandu, to the driving power of Hellfire Highway and Twisted Soul, to the heartfelt ballads Made For One Another and Don't Let Me Fall. After celebrating their 30th Anniversary as a band and the release of their latest monumental release "Motherland", the Danish melodic hard rockers are serving the fans with "Louder Than Ever". This is not a completely new album but consists of seven re-recorded classic songs from the 1995 - 2006 era plus five brand new songs specially written for this record and a special bonus DVD including archive footage from the 80's, brand new interviews and plenty of cool material for the fans!
"The reason for doing this project is to give those songs a different spin with the band and producer we have now" explains singer Ronnie Atkins. It is an in-between album until the band completes the next studio album with new tunes.
Pretty Maids will appear in the spring and summer in selected dates in support of the new album's release.

It's more or less done, the wait is over. Finally, the 11th studio album from GAMMA RAY "Empire Of The Undead" is almost done and ready to go.
"Empire Of The Undead" the fast metal song in the typical GAMMA RAY style that has influenced so many bands around the world, has appeared on the single / EP "Master Of Confusion" an appetizer the band released in 2013, just before touring the world non-stop with "relatives" Helloween.
GAMMA RAY worked on the new album during various sessions in 2013, during and in between their perennial tour with Eike Freese at the mixing desk supporting the ever precious work of bass player and co-writer Dirk Schlaechter.
It was just after landing in South America, that a unbelievable news reached Kai Hansen & co.: Hammer Studio, their home, rehearsal place, studio and meeting point for many metal bands in Germany had been blown away by a terrifying fire-stroke, together with instruments, amps, tapes...
Back in their hometurf the band needed to get an overview about their losses only to do what they do best -- move on! With that usual Kai Hansen smirk look...
Life is too good to stop and moan.
Nearly everything was destroyed, except the tapes of the almost finished new studio album.
"If this could not stop us... nothing ever will" -- joked Kai Hansen - who also added. "
"We got rid of a lot of shit that we gathered there. Unfortunately a lot of good equipment as well. Anyhow, we look into the future and we saved the production and we can continue now in this new place. By mid January we should be done with the work on this album and it's up to the record company to release it -- sometime in March.

"I am so thrilled to finally release my first solo album," says Anette Olzon. "I've been working on it for a long time by now... The album is very personal with songs I have started writing already in 2009 but also very recent songs. The overall message of the album is that life can be really dark and filled with hardship and sadness, but you can always choose to see some light coming through, to make you stronger and full of life - making you SHINE... no matter what."
And what about the musical direction?
"In the end, it is a rock album," says Anette. "Well, a pop rock album maybe, or would you call it pop metal?"

If you're talking about today's European top Heavy Metal acts, then the discussion will head straight towards Primal Fear. Former Gamma Ray vocalist Ralf Scheepers and bassist/vocalist Mat Sinner, two of the most respected German metal musicians founded the band in late 1997.
With nine studio albums released, two live products and a Best-Of, Primal Fear are certainly one of nowadays most beloved and respected worldwide Heavy Metal bands. Their last studio album "Unbreakable" became their highest chart entry in Germany on Pos. 31 and charted in 7 more countries.
After some very serious songwriting sessions and an intense pre-production schedule, the band started to record the new album "Delivering The Black" in summer 2013 at the House of Music studios in Germany, with producer Mat Sinner and engineer Achim Koehler. The direction was to create the most powerful Primal Fear album ever. The band moved to Denmark in September to finish the album with acclaimed producer/engineer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Pretty Maids, Amaranthe) handling the mix.
"Delivering The Black" combines the strongest Primal Fear moments ever, with a well-balanced typical Primal Fear trademark riff-vibe crushing songs and some very ambitious musical journeys. The center of the album are the two epic tracks "When Death Comes Knocking" and the 10 minute opus "One Night In December", spiced with big orchestral arrangements and complex sound designs.
Classic and ultra-fresh Primal Fear riff-rockers like the title track "Delivering The Black", the album opener "King For A Day" or the groove monsters "Alive And On Fire" and "Road To Asylum" will hit the bulls-eye, like the untamed speed killer "Rebel Fraction". Less experiments, more metal! The outstanding ballad "Born With A Broken Heart" shows a new picture of Primal Fear with an acoustic guitar feeling and the addition of Liv Kristine (Leaves' Eyes) on backing vocals.
Singer Ralf Scheepers says: "We worked hard to create our best album ever. I already felt the vibe during the pre-production, that we were working on something very special this time! And now the result is just an amazing Metal album, I'm extremely proud of!"
