Impellitteri - Venom Trailer (Official / New Studio Album / 2015)
Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the release of the brand new IMPELLITTERI studio album entitled “Venom” on April 17th in Europe and April 21st in North America.
With the release of the new album titled “Venom”, IMPELLITTERI deliver a record filled with addictive and memorable riffs, guitar solos that feature Chris Impellitteri’s blistering shredding technique coupled with strong melody and taste. Rob Rock vocals are mesmerizing, melodic, and will make the listener sing along with each song long after the record is over. Lastly, the band boggles the mind with brutal drumming (featuring John Dette, ex TESTAMENT, SLAYER etc) filled with speed and groove and beastly bass playing (curtesy of James Pulli) that supports IMPELLITTERI’s sonic madness! The result is a record that excites and musically satisfy every Metal and Rock fan, and every musician around the world. To add to their quest, IMPELLITTERI also wanted to create music that would take the listener on a musical journey thru different time periods of metal and rock.
Chris Impellitteri is heralded as one of the world’s greatest guitar shredders. He has won Best Rock Guitarist Awards on several magazines during the years for his guitar soloing. He is the first guitarist to be branded as the fastest guitarist in the world by the international media. Recently and without any promotion, Impellitteri was officially voted 2nd fastest guitarist in the world by “Guitar One” magazine; and “Guitar World” magazine recently listed Chris Impellitteri within their top 50 fastest guitarists of all time!
Chris Impellitteri formed IMPELLITTERI in 1987, together with Rob Rock as vocalist. That year, they released an EP called the “Black Album” which was well-received, and IMPELLITTERI went on to release the full-length album “Stand In Line” in 1988. As of today IMPELLITTERI have released a total of 9 acclaimed studio albums and the new record “Venom” follows after 2009’s “Wicked Maiden”.
During the writing and recording of the new album “Venom” the band pushed the limitations of their artistic abilities in both performance and composition. All musical areas and ideas were explored with only the best recorded.
Frontiers will release the album with two superb new exclusive bonus tracks. “Venom” tracklisting includes: Venom; Empire Of Lies; We Own The Night; Nightmare; Face The Enemy; Dominoe Theory; Jehova; Rise; Time Machine; Holding On; Rock Through The Night (bonus track); Reach For the Sky (bonus track)
Musicians:
Chris Impellitteri – Lead Guitar

Thunder "Wonder Days" interactive listening
The new album "Wonder Days" will be released on February 13th, 2015 / UK February 16th 2015.
One of the most popular and enduring British rock bands of the last 25 years, with 18 Top 40 singles in the UK and a string of gold and platinum albums around the world, Thunder are set to release their landmark tenth studio album, ‘Wonder Days’, on earMUSIC on February 13th 2015. The group’s first studio album in six years, ‘Wonder Days’ reminds us why Thunder are now more revered than ever before. With a lineage dating back to the cream of hard rock – Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, The Who and Deep Purple and songwriting greats such as The Kinks, The Beatles and The Faces – the band’s sound is a timeless marriage of unforgettable melodies and sheer rock power. Their long-awaited return with ‘Wonder Days’ should ensure that Thunder are elevated to their rightful place in the pantheon of truly great British bands.
In parts a rumination and reflection on the dreams and desires of young men growing up in the 70’s that inspired the band members to form their first band in their early teens, ‘Wonder Days’ is also a potent mix of blues, soul and rock’n’roll that is as contemporary as it is steeped in the finest music of the last few decades.
From the epic Zeppelin-esque title track, through the no-holds-barred pop prowess of potential hit singles ‘The Thing I Want’, ‘Resurrection Day’ and ‘Black Water’, to the big-screen ballad ‘Broken’, Thunder have delivered one of the finest rock albums of recent years.
While the galloping drive of ‘The Prophet’ comes on like an unholy union of Iron Maiden and Whitesnake, the sensual ‘Serpentine’ drips with an archaic Deep South blues vibe before turning into a Royal Blood meets The Raconteurs style stomp. ‘Chasing Shadows’ has all the swagger of primetime Aerosmith while the affecting, mandolin-driven folk tinges of ‘The Rain’ sounds ethereally ageless.
Throughout the album Danny Bowes’ vocals showcase just why he is one of the greatest rock vocalists of his generation; a true foil to guitarist Luke Morley’s powerhouse riffs, scintillating melodies and delicate acoustic strumming.
Though making a good recovery from the tonsil cancer that excluded him from the band’s recent live appearances, rhythm guitarist Ben Matthews has been sadly absent from the sessions so Morley has taken charge of all the guitars and keyboards on the album, with the ever-present Garry ‘Harry’ James on drums and long-term bassist Chris Childs on bass providing the striking rhythmic back-bone to the band.
Recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, with Luke Morley reprising his role as producer, the album was mixed by the renowned Mike Fraser, whose CV includes such names as Aerosmith, AC/DC and Metallica and who worked on several of the group’s key early records including their celebrated debut, ‘Back Street Symphony’.
Thunder hit the road in March with dates in Leeds, Birmingham and London, with Reef and Tax The Heat as support.

Kiske / Somerville "City of Heroes" Trailer
Five years of waiting for KISKE / SOMERVILLE new masterpiece album “City of Heroes” to be released worldwide in April on Frontiers.
Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the release of the anticipated new album from KISKE / SOMERVILLE entitled "City of Heroes" on April 17th in Europe and April 21st in North America.
KISKE / SOMERVILLE is the musical collaboration between vocalists Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween, Unisonic, Place Vendome) and Amanda Somerville (Trillium, Avantasia) and this new recording is certainly going to be one of the highlights of the season in Rock music. Kiske’s soaring overtones seem to blend perfectly with the ethereal quality and diverse range of Amanda's voice and this time the results are truly over the top.
This brilliant new album sees Mat Sinner (Primal Fear, Sinner) and Magnus Karlsson (Starbreaker, Primal Fear) handling most of the songwriting (with a song contribution “Breaking Neptune” from Sander Gommans formerly of After Forever and Amanda Somerville herself) and with Sinner overseeing the production in various recording studios in Europe. Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Primal Fear, Pretty Maids, Doro etc.) then took care of the mix of the album ensuring a sonic quality second to none.
The first KISKE / SOMERVILLE self-titled album instantly aroused enthusiasm in the rock and metal community. The two videos off the album -“If I Had a Wish” and “Silence” – amassed a total of approximately 3,000,000 plays to date, which means that these songs can legitimately be considered as nowadays Rock classics!
Considered a Metal Diva in the European symphonic metal scene, Amanda Somerville is an American singer-songwriter from Flint, Michigan whose catalogue of projects, guest appearances and live shows garnered to date is an impressive body of work. Since 1999, she has divided her time between the US and Europe, primarily Germany and the Netherlands. She co-wrote the metal opera "AINA," and has also been a vocalist, songwriter, producer and / or vocal coach for many bands like AVANTASIA, EPICA and KAMELOT, giving her more credibility in metal circles than she ever bargained for. Some of her most recent endeavors include working with renowned artists Alice Cooper, Bonnie Tyler, Ian Gillan (DEEP PURPLE) and many others.
Hamburg-born singer Michael Kiske is best known as the former lead vocalist for the German Metal Gods Helloween. After his departure from the band, Kiske recorded four solo albums, participated on various metal and rock related projects, such as Place Vendome and he also performed with numerous bands as a guest vocalist. In late 2009, he formed the hard rock/heavy metal band Unisonic, together with his former Helloween bandmate Kai Hansen and began touring again after 17 years.
“City of Heroes” will be released in CD, Deluxe edition with a bonus DVD and 2Lp vinyl gatefold sleeve. Tracklisting includes: City of Heroes; Walk on Water; Rising Up; Salvation; Lights Out; Breaking Neptune; Ocean of Tears; Open Your Eyes; Last Goodbye; After The Night Is Over; Run With a Dream; Right Now.
DVD includes: City of Heroes (video); Walk on Water (video); “Making of” documentary.
