Benedictum - Scream (Official Video / New Album 2013)

Benedictum "Scream" is taken from the album "Obey" out on Frontiers Records

Tracklisting: Dream Of The Banshee; Fractured; Obey; Fighting For My Life; Scream; Evil That We Do; Crossing Over; Cry; Thornz; Die To Love You; Apex Nation; Retrograde

Following in the footsteps of such legendary bands as Warrior, Rough Cutt and Psychotic Waltz, BENEDICTUM, with roots in San Diego, California, are truly mighty ambassadors in the world of Heavy Metal. Invoking power reminiscent of early Rainbow, the definitive sound of Savatage, and a nod to all the Gods of Heavy Metal; BENEDICTUM unleashes a stylish, epic brand of Metal on all fronts. Aggressive riffs, fierce rhythms, strong melodies, shredding leads and delicate textures converge at the crossroads where tradition and 21st century innovation merge. Veronica Freeman's vocal gymnastics are the pit-bull on the pant leg of heavy metal.

BENEDICTUM came originally to the attention of Dio guitarist Craig Goldy. Impressed with what he heard, he turned the group on to long-time friend and former band mate, Jeff Pilson (DOKKEN, DIO, FOREIGNER). Equally blown away by the bands raw talent and untapped potential, Pilson took on the role of producer and recorded the BENEDICTUM incredible debut CD "Uncreation" in 2005, and released to enthusiastic, fist-pumping reviews, soon followed up by the band's 2008 release, "Seasons of Tragedy", which saw them evolve into a metal force which could not be denied.

Ready for yet another amazing chapter, Benedictum were off on a new and exciting musical episode as they signed a contract with Frontiers Records. Building upon their great foundation Benedictum recruited Grammy Award winning producer Ryan Greene (Megadeth, F5, NOFX) and fired on all cylinders. From the onslaught of the opening track "Dominion" to the epic "Epsilon" and the heartfelt acoustic track "Sanctuary", this album has it all. Adding to the already explosive sound of "Dominion" are guest appearances by Jeff Pilson, Craig Goldy and none other than Rudy Sarzo on the fist-pumping track "Bang".

Benedictum moved forward and are finally releasing their anticipated fourth record. A new line-up has solidified the bands drive along with an even more powerful sound. Veronica 'The V' Freeman and Pete Wells have grown by leaps and bounds and have joined forces with Rikard Stjernquist, formerly of JAG PANZER, who has brought a whole new level of drive to the band. "Working with Rikard has been a joy and I am learning a lot" says the V. Aric Avina formerly of Tynator is now manning the Bass Guitar. With Jeff Pilson rectuing to the producer's seat and a new set of songs which masterfully combine the heaviness and the epic melodies of the first 2 albums, Benedictum will make no prisoners this time!

Black Label Society - In This River (Unblackened)

Black Label Society, formed in the late nineties by legendary guitar hero Zakk Wylde, have established themselves at the forefront of heavy metal with a series of hard riffing and hugely successful albums alongside worldwide tours that have cemented their reputation as one of the most powerful live bands of their generation. "Unblackened" finds Black Label Society in a mellower mood in a performance filmed at Club Nokia in Los Angeles earlier this year. The concert showcases the band's songs with a greater use of acoustic instruments but without losing any of their power and intensity. Zakk Wylde leads from the front as always, performing here on both guitar and piano and demonstrating the subtler side of his music alongside the blistering solos that his fans know and love. This is definitely a live concert not to be missed!

Red Dragon Cartel - Feeder Lyric Video (Official / Feat. Jake E. Lee - R...

Jake E. Lee is the former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne (on the "Bark at the Moon" and "The Ultimate Sins" albums). After a self-imposed exile from the music industry and the public eye since the demise of Badlands in the mid 90s, Jake is now back with an exciting new rock'n'roll band "Red Dragon Cartel". Their debut eponymous album will be released by Frontiers Records in the UK on Monday January 27th and in North America on Tuesday January 28th, 2014.

The band came about when old friend Ronnie Mancuso helped to coax Jake out of retirement. Ronnie, noted session guitarist/bassist, composer and producer for Beggars & Thieves, was sharing a studio space, "The Hideout" in Las Vegas with super hot producer, engineer and mixer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Hinder, In This Moment).

Angelica - Breaking My Heart (Official Video)

Angelica "Breaking My Heart" is taken from the album "Thrive".

Frontiers Records is excited to present the world the talents of Swedish singer ANGELICA with the release of her debut album "Thrive" on November 29th in Europe and December 3rd in North America.

Best known for being the singer in The Murder of My Sweet, Angelica Rylin finally decided to pursue her childhood dream and to walk in the footsteps of such amazing singers such as Ann Wilson of Heart, Leigh Matty of Romeo's Daughter or Robin Beck and record her debut solo album in a true Melodic Rock style.

Some Melodic Rock songwriting luminaries answered the call in order to create the magic harmonies and music displayed on Angelica's debut album. "Harry Hess, Daniel Flores, Robert Sall, Alessandro Del Vecchio and Anders Wigelius all contributed", says Angelica and some excellent guitarists such as Jesper Stromblad (In Flames), Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear), Per Berquist (Smash Into Pieces) also appear on the album. There is also a very special performance by keyboardist Matt Guillory (James LaBrie). Still Angelica wrote or co-wrote several songs on her record, showing another side of her abilities.

"I got the chance to step out of my comfort zone and just focus on being a great singer. I also got to do a couple of amazing co-writes, for instance with Harry Hess of Harem Scarem" continues Angelica "but what I'm most happy about is that I got to include a couple of my own songs too. It's a great mix of classic but modern AOR love songs".

Helped by producer, drummer and songwriting partner Daniel Flores (FIND ME, SEVENTH WONDER; THE MURDER OF MY SWEET), Angelica managed to create a superb album which offers soaring and instantly likeable hook lines, solid guitar riffs and a crisp sound. "After releasing two albums with The Murder of My Sweet I get an opportunity to show my fans a slightly different side of me and at the same time have fun and explore another side of rock music that I grew up with and truly love" tells Angelica. "I have pushed my boundaries vocally on this album and grown as a singer, which is very important for me on a more personal level. I guess this is every singer's dream!"

"Thrive" final track listing includes: Breaking My Heart; I Am Strong; To Your Rescue; Can't Stop Love; Nothing Else You Can Break; Riding Out The Storm; Rain On My Parade; Losers In Paradise; You Will Never Win; This Kiss Is Just For You; I'm Not Waiting; Take Me To Your Heart.
